Children in the Galapagos Islands
Without saying, the wildlife on the Galapagos Islands is the most exciting part for the kids. For children to truly immerse in the exciting activities and opportunities that the Galapagos Islands have to offer, they should ideally be 6 years old or older. Children should be able to swim well so that they will not miss out on snorkelling and exploring the beautiful underwater world.
Children must be aware of the national park rules. It may be tempting to touch the cute and adorable animals, but it is not allowed in the national park. Serious consequences may follow for these animals after coming into direct contact with humans. They may contract an illness, and its mother will abandon the sea lion pup if its scent is no longer recognisable after being touched by a human. Therefore it is of utmost importance that parents make sure that their children follow the rules and regulations.
If you are going on a cruise, please select a bigger ship with sufficient room for children to move and run around.
